Detox Your Body With A Foot Detox

April 18, 2008 By: Mr. Fitness Category: Stress No Comments →

Many people are becoming more focused on improving their health through diet and exercise. If you want to regain your vitality and improve your future health you need to cleanse your system from these toxins. One of the most easiest and effective ways to do this is through a detox program. Detox foot baths are simple, home remedies that can be used to gently remove the waste from your body.

Detox foot pads or Detox foot patches are one of the latest products to be used by the health and wellness industry. Although they have been used in Japan for many years, they have only recently become available in the West. They are worn on the feet at night as part of a ‘detox’ health regime.

There are many brands of detox foot patches in the market today and people have responded well to most of them. The normal content of a detox foot patch are tourmaline, wood vinegar, bamboo vinegar, a natural vitamin source, herbs, and mushrooms. These all-natural powdered ingredients contained in sachets all work together to detoxify your body of impurities.

Not everybody that has used Japanese foot pads has felt an improvement in health. But then again, this is true of just about any health product. Nicotine chewing gum has a less than 50% success rate in helping people quit smoking; should it be banned? Of course not. To the people that have derived some benefit, it has changed their lives. Some of the people that have benefited from detox foot pads have also reported similar life changing experiences.

Another type of foot detox is Detox Foot Spa. Many others have found the detox foot bath to be of help in effectively treating more major aliments including but not limited to high blood pressure and heart disease.

One of the benefits of a Detox Foot Spa is the ability to help deal with obesity. While the regular use of a detox foot spa is not likely to cause the body to shed those extra pounds when it is used alone. When used in combination with a healthy diet and regular exercise. The detox foot bath can be an important part of a quality plan to create a healthier life. Working alongside the heightened metabolism rate is an increase in energy level.

A foot detox can help your body balance the positive and negative energies because it will remove the harmful negative toxins. The detoxification process is both effective and gentle– the negative toxins will be drawn out through the reflexology points in your feet because of the positive charged ions in the water. Your body will push out those toxins and deposit them in the water as your feet are soaking. Learn more about how to detox your body at detoxyourbodytoday.com

Hypnosis : Discover How To Get What You Want the Easy Way

August 12, 2007 By: Mr. Fitness Category: Stress No Comments →

We all want to improve ourselves, whether its improving our time in the mile run we do each day, wanting to kick some nasty habit, or just feel more confident about ourselves overall.

Seriously, there is something that can help you achieve your goals, its called hypnotism. Of course the moment we hear the word “hypnosis” we get visions of the stereotypical magician, waving a pocket watch in front of a subject and then telling the poor, unsuspecting soul to act like a chicken while the subject’s friends die of laughter in the audience.

What exactly is hypnosis? Hypnotism is a natural state of mind created by relaxing the body and mind. This state of relaxation opens up the brain and heightens the senses, making the subject receptive to suggestions. This state of mind is perfectly natural and similar to the one we are in when we are in right before we hit deep sleep. This is called the “alpha state”.

Many of us experience the alpha state when we are daydreaming, or so involved in a good book that we totally block out anything else going on around us. Hypnotism can be a very effective tool and is more than a novelty at parties or in shows on the Vegas Strip. Athletes use it to increase their performance in competition, people also use it to overcome bad habits such as overeating or smoking. With hypnotism you are reaching the sub-conscious and speaking directly to it.

Each and every day our sub-conscious is hard at work collecting a vast amount of information from the world around us. The sub-conscious never sleeps, it keeps going through our whole lives picking up on things we usually don’t consciously think twice about.

There is no technical difference between being hypnotized and self-hypnosis, and when you get right down to it, either way, we are the only ones who can decide whether or not we will allow ourselves to be hypnotized. hypnotism is a state of relaxation and those of us who can relax easily are usually the better subjects for hypnotism. One common myth about hypnotism is that the hypnotist can make you say or do anything. What most people don’t know is that because the conscious mind is always present, you can not be made to do anything you normally would be unwilling to do.

Aromatherapy Blend : Creating Your Unique Mix While Keeping Your Family Safe

July 18, 2007 By: Mr. Fitness Category: Stress, Wellness No Comments →

Life is filled with stressors, and to stay healthy you need to de-stress at some point in the day. Aromatherapy is one excellent way of stepping out of the daily grind for just a few moments, but what if you have not yet found your perfect scent? If you want to create the perfect fragrance and set a mood synchronized with your own mind and body, consider creating your own essential oil blend. It is an all-natural way to personalize your relaxation.

If you choose to make your own aromatherapy oil blends, you need to take into consideration the time, and art that has to go into it. Here are some suggestions for creating the right mix for you:

Safety First

As with any potentially harmful agent, be careful when mixing essential oils together. Not only do you have to evaluate the properties of the oil before mixing, but make sure you are in a well-ventilated area. Make sure that oils you are use will not reactive negatively on each other, or cancel each other out. Choose oils that will work with each other to create the right effect. Wear protective gloves and eyewear when handling the pure oils to prevent contact with the skin.

If you’re putting together your own aromatherapy blend, absolutely never use artificial aromatherapy essential oils in your mix. Scented oils provide fragrance to the mix, but can deprive the essential oil of its purity and usefulness. When you are creating your own aromatherapy blend, only use oils that are completely natural. You can usually tell which is what by reading the ingredients on the bottle of scented oil. If the bottle does not list any ingredients, or just fragrance oils or a few other ingredients, it is not an aromatherapy product.

Experiment

The best way to tell how an aromatherapy blend will work out is to test the oils first. Try applying a few dabs of the essential oils you are going to use onto a piece of tissue. Feel its texture, smell for fragrance and do this with each of the oils then try mixing your blend. Your aromatherapy blend will either be enhanced, flat or have no significant effect at all. This may take some time, but eventually you will find the right blend for you.

If you are serious about finding the best way to calm yourself after a hectic day, then consider taking the time to find the right aromatherapy blend for you. Become your own scientist, and experiment with different aromatherapy essential oils to find the one that suits you the best. The time and effort will be worth it in the end!
